Empowerment was brought to life with a belief that the biggest gift you can give someone is to empower them. For us, empowerment isn’t simply about raising your voice against social issues or making a stand. Instead, it’s also about taking charge of your own life and aspiring for continuous growth. Being self-empowered is to realize that your empowerment resides within you. It enables you to envision and create what you really want in life.

We’ve all heard about being empowered but what does that really mean?

Empowerment is believed to comprise five components:

-Your sense of self-worth

-Your right to have and control choices

-Your right to have the power to control your own life

-Your right to have access to opportunities

-Your ability to move outside yourself to bring change in the environment in which you live.

However, being empowered goes way beyond simply taking charge over your own life and destiny, instead it incorporates numerous interconnected and interdependent factors.

Each time you permit someone or something outside of yourself to offer you love, success or happiness, you are handing your power over to them. When that love, success, or happiness isn’t manifested in your life, they have conquered, crushed and dis-empowered you.

Contrariwise, when you choose to be a self-empowered, loving & caring person yourself, the success and happiness that you desire will begin to attract the very people, events, and milestones that re-enforce your empowered life.

When you realize that you can take charge of what happens to you and to your life, you have taken one of the biggest steps towards self-determination and control over your life and the path you choose to set for yourself.

Irrespective of your past or your present, you are always in control of your future. And that future just got a step closer.

By learning to empower yourself you learn to bring balance back into your life. You will celebrate a life where you are in accord with yourself and those around you.

Take a deep breath and before you think I’m reading out a page in the books of philosophy, I’m not. I’m just saying that once you have controlled the pedals of your life and grown into a self-empowered person, you will achieve a new clarity for what is really significant in your life and what is just so much pablum that you can trash.

This clarity will guide you to making decisions that are in harmony with where you want your life to go. At the same time, you will be more conscious of your actions on others and will be more of an enrichment to their lives.

She began by taking introduction from the audience and in no time, the gathering was enchanted by her strong & effective words. Speaker: Muskaan Kumbhat

A professional makeup artist with a specialization in Visual Arts & Communication, Muskaan believes that magic lies in her brush. She empowers people by making them feel more confident in their skin. In her 40 minutes long super-inspiring talk at Project Empowerment, Muskaan gave insights on makeup and empowerment as two parallels and the flip side of the glamour world- how flawlessness has become a dangerous high-budget myth. Towards the end, she was open to questions and girls couldn’t contain their excitement, thus throwing around questions on contouring, eyeshadow palettes, and other beauty instruments & techniques.

3. The Art of Instagramming

Speaker: Ruchika Beri (Jewel Love)

An entrepreneur cum tarot-card-reader, Ruchika is super-passionate about marketing and its likes. In her 90-minutes session at Project Empowerment, Ruchika filled in our curious minds by giving a super empowering speech on how to level up our Instagram profiles.
