The Top 5 Home-Made Recipes For All Your Skin Problems

Are you a fan of the readymade beauty solutions for your skin care and nourishing? Then you must try these life-saving recipes to get clear and glowing skin. These particular ubtans which are prepared in minutes are your go-to-go options to secure a skin as clear as the summer sky.

  1. Ubtan to reduce your tan

Mix 1 table-spoon of gram flour (called bean) with 1 table spoon of rice flour, a pinch of turmeric (called haldi), 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of potato juice and rose water. Then make a thick paste and apply it wherever you have tanned skin. Once the paste dries, scrub it off with water in circular motions around your skin. Use this regularly to get rid of the summer tan.

  1. Soothing ubtan for summers

Mix the pulp of half a cucumber with at least 1 teaspoon of mint juice, 1 teaspoon sandalwood powder, 1 tablespoon multani mitti (Fuller’s Earth) and rose water as needed. Apply this paste all over your face and neck, and leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes. This can help soothe your skin and prevent irritation, rashes and redness during summer.

  1. Ubtan for pimple-prone oily or the combination skin

Mix 1 tablespoon of red sandalwood powder, one tablespoon of multani mitti (also called Fuller’s Earth), a handful of crushed mint leaves, and 1 teaspoon tomato juice. Apply it evenly on your face and then let it dry. Wash it off with cold water. This will keep pimples away, especially if you have an oily skin.

  1. Nourishing ubtan for winter

Mix 2 tablespoons each of milk powder, almond powder and gram flour. Add a pinch of turmeric and 1 tablespoon of fresh cream and lemon juice, along with a few drops of rose water and olive oil as needed. Then apply it on your face and body, especially the areas prone to dry patches. Wash it off with lukewarm water once it dries. Instead of using face cream, use skimmed milk if you have very oily skin.

  1. Ubtan for nourishing the dry skin

Mix 2 tablespoons of red lentil (also called masoor dal) paste, with 1 tablespoon almond powder, 3 tablespoons rice powder, along with 2 tablespoons of fresh cream, 2 tablespoons of oatmeal, a pinch of turmeric and rose water as needed. Make a thick paste of all these ingredients and then apply it over your face and neck. Once the ubtan dries, gently wash it off with the lukewarm water.

  1. Ubtan to soothe and exfoliate the skin

Mix 1/2 cup gram flour, along with 4 tablespoons of full-cream milk, 1 tablespoon sandalwood powder and rose water as needed. Apply this paste on your face, arms and neck, and let it dry.
