OUR EXPERIENCE

With happy drum-rolls & clinking champagne glasses, our #OneDayAtWestinPushkar started on a cheerful note. Along with a group of some of the avant-grade bloggers from Jaipur, we set out on our quick weekend getaway at 7:00 AM. Arriving at the resort at 10:30 AM, we were welcomed in a traditional style along with a refreshing drink called ‘Elixir’, curated from the best of home-grown ingredients. The gorgeous lobby at the resort stood in perfect contrast to the city of Pushkar. Our warm welcome at The Westin Pushkar was followed by a Heavenly Spa by Westin, whereby all the bloggers were escorted to their separate rooms for a blissful foot massage session. After a three-hour journey to the property, a spa was exactly what we needed to unwind and calm our minds. Speaking of the wellness segment, The Westin Pushkar offers a variety of engagements like a 10,000 square-feet Heavenly Spa By Westin with seven therapy rooms offering a set of local & international treatments, a state-of-the-art Westin workout fitness studio, yoga sessions (in process) and an open-library (in process).

After re-boosting our energies back from the rejuvenating spa treatment, all the bloggers were escorted to one of the prime spots at The Westin Pushkar- Mix, the Bar. Living up to its name, Mix houses a range of spot-on mocktails and cocktails. The best thing about the bar is that it allows you to prepare your own drinks, as the bartender guides you through the ingredients and procedure (Crafted At Westin). The bar table is also marked with clear instructions of the recipes of drinks you would wish to make. The palatable drinks at the bar get your soul dancing and feet tapping in no time.

Following the live session at the bar, all the bloggers were escorted to a live cooking session where the head chef, along with other chefs, left us drooling with every ingredient tossed. The mahogany table was all set with a huge variety of spices and ingredients, for the preparation of three delicious recipes. With the sizzling aroma of food lingering in the air and some quick innovational ways of the chefs, the live cooking session was a great success. This extravagant demonstration of live cooking and live tasting sessions gave a kick-start to the cravings of all the people present in the room. The bloggers were then invited to experience the rich food cuisines at Seasonal Tastes, the signature all-day dining restaurant which is known to serve the exquisite international and local cuisines alongside Westin’s nutrient rich Super Foods and Fresh by the Juicery menus. With impressive interiors & classy cutlery, the place resonated a stunning feel altogether. However, mainstay of the restaurant remained its delectable line-up of best dishes from around the world.

Following a wholesome lunch & hot sizzling discussions amongst the bloggers, next in line was a quick tour around the gorgeous & expansive premises of The Westin Pushkar. Owned by Paradise Properties, Westin Pushkar is spread across a sprawling 11 acres, offering 98 contemporary guest rooms, with approx. 44 private pools.
