The courage to breakthrough a chain of traditions, combined with her love for Indian weaves has put the spotlight on the award-winning fashion designer famous for Rajasthan’s patchwork and threadwork designs. Meet Ruma Devi, our cover star for November and the shining light of hope who transformed the lives of more than 22,000 women of Barmer. With a single thread of well-thought ideas, Ruma Devi revolutionized the future of the women of her community by blessing them with opportunity and growth via a medium of apparel design.
