Slay The Falsies Trend Like A Kardashian

In the time and age of Kardashians and Jenners, wearing falsies even to a supermarket or gym seems no big deal. However, applying these killer beauties can get pretty intimidating. So the very initial step in applying false eyelashes is to handle them with confidence as they can almost smell fear. Inhale deep because a wobbly hand with bits of glue and fibres all over your eyes is the last thing you’d want. That said, a little practice can make you a pro. So channel your inner makeup artist and get started along with us, one step at a time.

Step 1: Curl Your Lashes

As falsies are naturally curved, you must make sure your lashes are curved too in order to fit them nicely. Make use of a lash curler and get as close to the roots as you can. Repeat the process twice. Next, also fasten the curve of your falsies by enfolding them around your index finger. Hold it like this for a few seconds before you release. Voila!

Step 2: Pick The Right Glue

While a lot of lash glues dry without leaving a stain, some of those nastier ones dry leaving a white mark and trust us, it looks horrid. Avert the odds of having flaky white eyebrows by investing in lash glue that dries black or clear. Make sure it sticks right as an eyelash coming out at an important event would be a nightmarish experience.

Step 3: Use An Applicator

If you can’t control your hands from trembling, you must definitely opt for an applicator to neatly wear falsies. Opt for a tool that suits you best, whether it is a speciality applicator or a pair of tweezers.

Step 4: Trim The Extra Ends

Finding a pair of falsies that is the exact length for your lashes is like finding your perfect soulmate- rare and impossible. In order to fake a natural look, make sure that you first try to place the false eyelashes on your eyes and trim any extra length.

Step 5: Apply Mascara Prior To Your Falsies

Applying mascara prior to applying falsies does the same work of a primer being applied before foundation. Mascara acts as a base for the false eye lashes to fit in with ease.

Step 6: Apply The Glue With Ease

Next up, apply the glue to your falsies with stern hands. Starting from the edges, slowly move inwards towards the center. Let the glue set in and dry for a few seconds so that it fits perfectly in the next step.

Step 7: Place The Falsies & Voila!

Using a tweezers, gently place the falsies on your eye lashes. After positioning them, you can fine-tune the falsies quickly before the glue dries up. The use of tweezers will make the process more accurate. One the glue has dried up, apply mascara at the roots so as to fuse the falsies with the real lashes.
